Ok, ran the numbers through the calculator, again.
Baybe is 331 days from her one hand cover date.  She lives with Che`, they spend all day together, he goes in his stall at night so he can take as long as he needs to eat his senior.
Misty is 341 days from last day out with Topper on pasture for breeding, she doesn't look bred, so I doubt she is.

Baybe is such a pretty girl.  I'm crossing my fingers that since she lives with Che' there will be a baby sooner or later.  And Tilly does look suspicious!

I wish, but Che` is the one that  gives whole new meaning to hand breeding, so I don't hold my breath that he can do it himself.
And, since Donkeys go about a year, anything is possible, but I still think donkey fat and fluff.

Well, we can hope and pray; and it would sure help me resolve this "I want another" feeling; but I won't hold my breath, since I don't want to turn blue and pass out.

I trimmed Bonny's hooves today, and I think they are starting to look much better.  We've been battling white line or something like it for probably two years.  Just when I think we get it licked, it shows up in another hoof.  The back hooves are still a bit off on angles, but she is standing up, instead of rocked back on her heels, so seeing improvement.   The two gaps are slowly starting to go away, so here's hoping we can get it cleared up and all better.

they look great!!

Awww, Tilly would have the most beautiful "mini hinny" baby!  You don't hear of them too often (don't think I've heard of any lately).

I know that a few years ago, Lewella had a whole group of little mule pony foals (oopsie!), and they seemed to find new homes pretty quick.

Someone in the paddock with Che` has slightly loose poops, but they are grazing in the morning, so it could just be wet grass with the rains we've had lately.   Moving their pasture spot today and mowing the coarse stuff they won't eat, so it can grow more evenly, and I can more easily pick poo.

That would be nice, but I still won't be holding my breath; turning blue and passing out is no fun.   ;)

White line is the worst Chanda , I feel your pain. My eldest gelding and "forever" horse ( Monte) has had this ever since I have had him. I have tried everything and I mean everything to get rid of it but I have had no luck. He was the horse that got me back into riding many years ago though these days spends his days enjoying life in the back paddock eating away.

If you ever find a cure or something that helps , let me know :)

I've just been using povidone iodine (Betadine) and trying to get the trims balanced.   I've seen some pictures of some serious resections trying to get it under control, but I won't be doing that.   If the gap is really large, I soak gauze pads in betadine, stuff them in the crack and wrap the hoof for a couple days hoping to get it up in the ick and kill it in hopes of things getting better.

Have you tried using Copper Sulfate powder for white line disease?  Place on a pad, and wrap the hoof for several days.  Copper sulfate tends to dry the area and kill the ick.

But, I've also heard of a mix of Polysporin/Neosporin Plus antibiotic ointment with local anesthetic in it mixed 50-50 with Clotrimazole 1% athletes foot cream. With this treatment you attack both the fungal infection and any bacterial infection. This mix applied to the white line and frog for 3 or 4 days in a row is usually successful in killing any fungus.

And, I did find an interesting article that is a variation of the above creams:

Substituting the athletes foot cream with a Miconazole Nitrate 2% athletes foot powder aerosol spray and instead of Polysporin as a antibacterial using household Lysol Disinfectant aerosol spray (kills 99.999% of bacteria & viruses). 3 or 4 days in a row of this seems to kill any hoof fungus.

If the foot is cleaned out properly before spraying this seems to get great penetration and works even better than the creams above. It might sound too simple to work but the writer said over the last year he's seen horses that nothing would cure get rid of their fungus with this treatment.

Just some thoughts.
