The whole quilt will be a bit busy, as it's made up of 6" squares, and the rest will be an assortment of patriotic fabrics.  It's a donation to a project we are doing for guild, so I'm not terribly worried if it's a bit busy.  Let me see if I can paste the fabric assortment here from the website.

I believe I got all but the one on the right in my assortment.  It's going to be a busy quilt, the star may be the "quietest" part, even with the print.

Here is the star with some of the print squares around it, not cut yet, but laid out to see.  Pattern actually has the whole center made up of similar tone-on-tone white prints; but as I don't have enough of the white with red stars, I'm mixing it up a bit.    [And, there will be enough left of the center fabric, which ever I choose to cut a few squares to mix into the background squares, probably not too close to the star.]

Mom and I havent started our quilt yet.I got busy washing couch cushions, and that means bagging the fluff inside, washing then fulffing the fluff, then o9n to stuffing the fluff back into the cushion...

We have a silver buckskin filly out of Bonny. 
Nothing at 3PM, she even jumped and looked at me like not me.   Looked out the window at five and I couldn't tell if it was a baby or someone else's head, due to distance to the corral from house, so went out and she still has her baby slippers on, so quite new.   Iodined and then I came here to post and grab the camera.

Bonny is a bit crampy, so will keep an eye on her.  She's had a small dose of banamine, but might need more.

Oh, Chanda, she's simply BEAUTIFUL!!!!!  So feminine looking and just gorgeous!!!  Good job mom and dad!!  Daddy does put that fabulous "look" on these little ones!!

Bonny was much better at evening feed and eagerly dove into her meager dinner, I had tried a little soaked beet pulp earlier, but she wasn't overly interested.   Tonight, I gave her about half her normal dinner plus extra hay.
I'll get more pictures after she unfolds a bit more, those first were probably at most at an hour old.
Think I already have a name, pretty sure on registered name, contemplating barn name.   It's nice tonight, and they are in the barn, so no blanket.
