Well, Vicki never joined us over on LB, so I kinda doubt that she will here, but I will work on it.  Any pics that I take or ones that she shares, I will be happy to share (I take plenty of pics at her place w/ my own camera and phone).  She is really frustrated right now with a lot of things - hopefully Koal will help to pull her out of her shell a bit.  He'll make a nice match with her 2015 colt "Mo-Mo" (well, Mo is solid bay, but).  We shall see.

Well, we can hope!  We're a friendly bunch, so we'll hope she'll come and let us see him grow up!  And share about her other little colt, Mo-Mo.

And some shots of Vicki with him last weekend -

I LOVE the gold/tan tufts sticking out of his ears!  Yes, he's about ready for a new halter, too.  Vicki will be making another one for him.

Only got 2 pics of him that turned out this time - he's grown a LOT, but the girls have kept right up with him.  First time I've ever had babies that are almost exactly the same size - and all by different sires (I think, ? There is a possibility that Chylly is sired by Echo and is actually a 1/2 sister to Koal.  Need to get her color test in - it's faster than DNA.  If she carries a bay gene, then she's by Wizard.)

This photo makes him look "out of whack", so to speak ...  Sorry pic was taken on unattractive manure pile.  It's getting cleaned up today/tomorrow (the whole round pen's manure is being moved up by our house to start "swales" of "lasagne layering" for next years gardening attempt...

There are definitely American Shetlands in "Aussieland" (hope you don't find that offensive, not meant that way, LOL), but I have not the first clue what one would do to get one there.  That would be enjoyable research!

Koal is getting ready to go to his new home with my girlfriend, Vicki.

Koal looks a lot like his daddy, at about the same age.  This is Echo in 2013 -

Yes American Shetlands they are known as here :) I would have no idea either how to get one here. When I win Lotto , I will do some research :)

Hope he has fun in his new home  :D

He looks very much like his dad !

Well, poooo!! Had a very nice reply almost finished, then funked up my keystrokes and somehow deleted and replaced it with the letter "S". Darn!!

I had said, I suspect that Koal has an easy-going wise temperament much like Echo. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Paula's senior stallion AJ, but his descendants put the "nasty Shetlands" rumors to shame. I see sweet, willing and easily trainable ponies that are very forgiving of humans' shortcomings. They just give you this "Really...just...really??" look when you ask for unreasonable things in an unclear way. Then they try and do them for you anyway. (Can you tell that I like the temperaments on Paula's AJ bred babies?)

I haven't been out to Paula's since Koal, Chylly and Jynx were foaled--isn't that pitiful? How different are they as far as training goes Paula? I know Koal is going/gone to Vicki's. What are her plans for him? Is he to be gelded?
