New smile for River Leigh.River had her nose/ lip repair today. She is doing very good. Drinking her bottle too. A blessing because some can't at first.

Thank you, Lord!!  We thank you for an easy, uneventful and successful surgery.  We thank you for the cheerful and supportive family she has around her.  We also thank you in advance for the quick recovery with no complications.   O:-)

Wow Holly, you've had a very emotional last 24 hours, haven't you?!  How long does she have to stay in the hospital for recovery?  Are there any special aftercare instructions?  Do you or the family need any special prayers?  I hope it's not presumptuous to think that mom and dad have been doing well both emotionally and physically.  Caring for anyone with special needs can be stressful.  I can only imagine how much more trying it can be when it's your newborn child.

Again, please let us know how we can support you.  Sometimes, internet friends really ARE friends.  :-* :-*

# love yall!!

River is doing very well... there is a bit of aftercare, follow up appointments and such. Mom and dad are doing good too, it's been tough seeing her with stitches and her nose stents but we're adjusting.... she's been a bit sore, to be expected , but Tylenol helps so much.
I got my first new smile... and love it!

Summers are especially busy for us. This year even more so with the grandsons turning 4& 5 and little River about to be 8 months!
She's got 2 teeth now, rolling all around, and healing up just beautifully !
