My first was a 1969 red convertible Volkswagen Bug for which I paid $800 NEW in 1968.  Loved that car, but then I got married, and he didn't own a car, so my "new" husband then got in 2 accidents with it, and we had to replace it.  In later years I got rid of him, too!  LOL!!

My first car was a 77 camero ralley sport. I paid a dollar. Got it from my brother. It was a rusty bucket! Had to sit on a pillow to see over the hood to drive!

My first was a 1980 pick-up from the farm, I think, a little fuzzy on the details.   First I got to call my own was a 1986 Chevy Blazer that my dad had got himself and then turned over to me when I went to college; we traded it in for dad's new pick-up and I upgraded to his old pick-up so I could pull a horse trailer safely.   That Chevy Blazer is parked on the street 5 blocks away from where my mom currently lives, as a young couple bought it when we traded it in, and they still have it.
