Estimating weights
« on: May 15, 2017, 04:22:15 AM »
I want to focus on Snickas losing some weight, and in Agriculture at school I enjoy typing up journals for our EAIs of what procedures we do, with tables of results ect. So I think that will be motivation to keep at her 'diet', to be able to record and look back on results and calculate gains and losses.

To measure her weight I used the formula of:
(Heart Girth x Heart Girth x Body length) divide by 11 900 = Body Weight

I got a result of 128 kilos, does that sound accurate. Willow came to 104 kilos.
All online horse calculators are saying the same weight too.

What do you all think? Is 128 kg and 104 kg too light for a weight of a chubby mini or does it sound accurate? And Snickas MAY be 7 months pregnant.

Ill post a picture of the girls to see if the weights look roughly accurate to their looks. I know they're fluffy and its harder to tell but just an estimate.  :D
