Friends stillborn
« on: May 11, 2017, 08:11:38 PM »
A friend i was on "foal watch" with has just had a stillborn. Im devastated for them, as they were so excited. Had foals before, but never a mini and has so far done everything correct. Only thing i noticed was the mare was waxing and dripping quite a lot, but Nipples still point to eachother. I dunno if thats a factor in the stillbirth, but probably is an indication the foal had already passed on. No idea why yet.

Just so sad, and obviously scary.

RIP little one.  ;pray

Always such sad news, especially when you're trying to do everything right.  Sounds like something happened in utero and perhaps she went into labor to abort due to an in utero death.

Please express our sadness at their loss.   :'(
