lol just watching Goldie, its 1am and usually im in bed but shes acting odd. She was lying down, and suddely stretched out, looking to the belly. Then she jumped up and ate...as if nothing happened. Then she pawed around and looked generally upset. She looks quite uncomfy though, like anyone late in preggo would. Bless her! Lots of back leg stretching.

Had a smallish poo and looks a bit happier!

Do they get a bit constipated? Should  i be giving her something to help her bowels?

Hopefully you and Goldie are both sleeping now.

I've never had a mare get constipated during late stages of pregnancy , though it could be very much that there is a lack of room in there as she moves towards foaling. So you will see her up and down like a yo yo, rolling,  trying to get comphy. :)

Pretty Goldie, how nice (and considerate!) of you to start rolling baby into place, so that you can foal before Mom has to travel for work. Good, good girl!!

Got a new camera it's now colour again cause the old one broke!

I've been leaving the light on cause it was better for me seeing when the camera was really dark at night. Gonna see how this one is tonight without the light cause I think it sucks having a light on all night when you're trying to sleep no?

Is it common for late term mares to get quite sore on the back legs? I think goldies a bit pottery and standing in under herself - she's even pressing her butt to the wall to take pressure off her legs I think :/ why did I ever think this was a good idea 😫 I'm not breeding again lol

That butt pushing is perfectly normal.  It's actually something I look for, as they are pushing baby into a more comfortable position as the space gets tight.  All sounds like she's getting closer and "doing the right things" for getting herself comfortable and baby in the right position!
