I honestly don't know, but do know that some foal blankets come very adjustable with Velcro straps.  I can't remember what you have for minis, but if they have blankets that they don't wear, one of them might be right.   If I remember, when I'm on my desktop instead of kindle, I'll get you a link or two for adjustable foal blankets.

You might try Deb Robison at her personal email.  She raised large horses for years before getting into Falabellas and American miniatures.

She might be able to help you.  I'll PM you her personal email address.  She makes the blankets herself, and can probably be a good resource for your upcoming little one!

I agree with Chanda. I don't know the size of haffie foals, but Kate's foals could fit in a small mini horse sized blanket. Typically they were long enough but to deep, so we had to hem them and take up the Velcro straps.

Hi,
Congrats on the upcoming winter foal out of your lovely Haflinger.  Diane said that I should contact you as I make double fleece foal blankets and she said that maybe you may want one for your little one.
If so, let me know and I can make one for you.

Thank you for the link Chandra and yes I see that there are some blankets the allow for six inches of growth but I'm still wondering if I should get a 36 or a 42 inch ugh I think its most important that it fits snug for the first few months then it will already be warming up
