Meadow, are you upset about being off mom?

We are looking forward to seeing who gets their buckskin baby first this year....you or Chanda.

Gonna need a pee sample. She might be in season now ;(

I'll know more tomorrow at a show - she'll either be normal or a hoe.

I definitely felt it move so if she is it maybe aborted but I'm sure I would have noticed at so far along!!

I could just be being paranoid as usual. It's been known to happen at least once a month 🤔

Good to see your mind's at rest about being in season. How far along is she? Far enough that you'd get a false negative and make yourself MORE paranoid??

She first covered on August 4th for a few days, for the first time after foaling but did not take. Her next proper cover was 22nd august - 27th in hand ans she was normal season very willing etc. After that she showed mild signs of season on September 17th, but was not happy to cover in hand, eventually let Banner and her loose to pasture and she let him cover her twice in a 20min period after trying to kill him a few times, but i dont honestly think he finished the job either time and she never seemed happy or willing and that was the only time she let him near her and i only let them together for about an hour before they were separated so that was the ONLY cover. She never came back in season..

I thought she may have been in last week, but she didn't show any interest in the stallions at the show.

SO in answer to your actual question, she could still test normally..but she could be due july, or august.

Ive felt a foal move, or im crazy. I know now that if in three weeks she shows signs of season ive wasted a few months thinking shes preg, but if she doesnt then that will also tell. Shes very much fat and pregnant looking, but could just be baby fat from last yer haha

We're crossing fingers that she took, and we'll be expecting another beautiful baby later this summer!

Ok now we have one down one to go my focus will move to charms pregnancy!

She can be due on any of these dates:
18th June
July 5th
July 30th

I have to decide when to vaccinate her but I'm not going to do it until four weeks before the second cycles due date as that's the time I think she took.

Well, we're all happy to be whale watching, too!!!

She's looking good, no elongation, so holding well!

I only take that pic as a precaution, last year she elongated for one pic....then was all scrunched again - and foaled! She gets a "long" lady part when she lies down.

She gave very little indication last year apart from maybe her milk changing slightly. She was always lying down at 5AM so this year ill be watching her actions - just like Goldie. Godlie always had a "moment" around 10-11PM and foaled at 10.30PM.

Earliest breeding date places Charm at 300 days today. Over the weekend i plan to clear out the foaling stable and put her under cameras :)
