Finally got a picture of it.   Monte's appy characteristics are manifesting in an odd manner.
Monte is a grulla with all the characteristics; dorsal, legs bars, face mask, etc.
Look what his appy is doing...

That looks very unique.  Never seen anything like it.  It's not really "lacing" but it will be interesting to see what happens!  ~~Diane

I'm not sure, but since he's appy, I think it's snowflaking that is concentrating on his dorsal.

We had decent rain this summer, but it was often followed by heat and rain, so it didn't do as much as it could have.

Sounds like we could both do with more rain and less snow , wind and cold in general
