Title: Got brained today

At my show and just got banner off the box. He immediately stuck his head down to the grass and I started prep. As I was doing his hooves with black liquid that does NOT come off he saw something and threw his head up, bashing me in the head and spilling the liquid everywhere.

Thank god the only spots on him were covered by hair but man I have a bump :o

He did well though with a first a second and champion
Thriller got a first and a third :)

Very good day. Apart from when I got home thrillers man pocket was swollen up :( and my big horses leg was swollen. I think they've been bitten by horseflies.

Good job on the placings !

That's awful about the flies :( we will maybe see one horse fly a year around here thank goodness, the barn flies are bad enough but those guys are awful. Hopefully the bites go away quick!

Sounds like you had quite the time today! Glad your not too hurt and can recoup in a little time, and hoping Thriller and your big horse recover quickly!

Thriller was handled by my friend and did fab clearly! He was very professional :) I've cut her out for privacy lol

That hoof paint is nightmare isn't it! I remember once we were in a rush doing moccachino's feet and she was messing around and moved right over ans knocked the whole pot over onto the concrete of the showground. Luckily it was the supreme products one that is water based and all washed off.
