Title: Precious 2018 Foal
Post by: Holly on July 17, 2017, 11:22:24 AM: Last cover was 6/7/2017. Hoping for a repeat foal only a filly this time :)
Its been almost 6 weeks and no signs of returning to heat so fingers tightly crossed!

Post by: Silver City Heritage Farm on January 14, 2018, 04:45:37 PM: Darn Anna.....I was thinking we only had to wait until mid-late April. But we have until June?? I'm glad I'm only waiting online. The suspense would be killing, particularly since this is the swan song foal of Apache.

I will keep sending prayers that she has an uneventful foaling. I think we ALL had more than enough animal tragedies in 2017.

I haven't had much exercise tome, given my new stuffed pony project. Though my fingers sure ate busy!!!
I really like the new cam....i randomly check it out, but April 3 is day 300 so will be on nightly then.
Precious doesn't have much going on yet as she's got the flappy brood mare udder. Hard to believe only 3 weeks til foal watch and 4-7 til we've got a wee one on the ground....

You might get a daylight birth, that's going fast, but some of these girls seem to have tricks up their sleeves and cross their legs at the last minute and hold 'em hostage a bit longer.
