DAY THREE FOR "LEGEND" AND HIS MOM

He is just beautiful Clara.

On another note, you should probably remove momma's halter, as babies can easily get a foot/leg stuck in it while their playing around momma -- especially in the pasture.  They love to race around and jump on momma, and we wouldn't want this perfect little man to get hurt in any way!

He was well worth the wait, for sure!!!!

thank you for reminding me about the halter, we have  been trying to watch him by setting in our golf cart.  He is so little, I am afraid he will get in fire ants or a hungry bobcat just run him down.   This weather has been terrible.  He was out today  and we scooped them up and got in before it started to rain. We had 60 mile an hour wind and lots of rain.  I was very happy we have a nice barn to keep him safe and dry as well as my others.  How did u fair today Diane with the storm?? Sending u a photo of my paddock today with rain.

Does anybody have a source for a tiny newborn miniature halter that would be suitable for getting him used to a baby halter?

Yes, I always used "Star Lake Tack" at: http://starlakefarm.com/

Halters are here:  http://starlakefarm.com/halternylon.html

I bought all my halters from her for my babies, and if I had a decent one left, I'd send it to you, but don't have a good one.  But Cathy has a good supply of everything "miniature" for our little horses, for example, I loved the  "Miniature Pitch Fork" as the tines are close together so just PERFECT for cleaning stalls of miniature horses!

He is just so special Clara!  Very handsome....like his daddy!  You should post pictures of dad -- he's a handsome boy!
