Did you know he was going to ask her beforehand? How old are your new grandchildren? Please tell us about them! Do they like horses or other animals? Do you know what type of wedding they're planning? Did he ask her in your living room??

It is exciting!! Wish you and your family all the best!!

It was amazing!!
My sister and her family came down from NH to visit, so Mike, my son, wanted to prepose when all were here! We knew ahead of time so set her up lol.
The preposal was in my living room 😀
Ok so the storey about the g babies is a long one. The oldest is 3 yr boy. The youngest is 2 also boy. We all suspect the youngest is blood, but no DNA yet.  We of course love them both with all our heart.
Plans have barely started dates not set, but def going to be a country wedding. It will be outside.
My son is almost 24 and she is 21. They are so good together! Wonderful parents.

WOW!  I seem to have missed a whole lot of new posts including this one.

CONGRATULATIONS Holly!!  What a great holiday surprise...  and those ready made families are both fun and "trying".

I do not get called grandma or memaw yet but ours, but that may come some day (actually their real mom doesn't even want them calling our daughter "mom" so how can the little dears learn to call another grandparent by a family name convention?).

This is so exciting!  Hope they are enjoying this time, too, and please keep up apprised of when the dates are.

BTW, where in TX are you?  If I make a trip this next spring/summer (like I did last year), I might have to swing over your way for a visit!

Paula, we are NE of Houston, about 20 minutes North of Bush intercontinental Airport.  It would be fabulous if you came by for a visit!

I have been reading on etiquette on being a mother of the groom. And I told the bride she gets to help me pick out what I wear so that her wedding pictures look the way she wants.
They are about to move in down the street from us , on 4 acres rental house. I am super happy to have them close!!
