Title: The VOICE

So I dont know how many of yall are following the Voice this season, but we are. My son ( the guitarist & Vocalist) and I are friends with Sundance Head, who has made the top 10. Not only is he an amazingly talented guy he is a super great guy too!
We have had the privilege of hosting benefits and he has played to help us out.
I am so happy for him & his family :)

We havent seen any of the American version this year yet, but when we do , we will be cheering for him :)

The only Problem I have with these kinds of shows is that IF they win , they usually have to sing other peoples songs, usually terribly written ballards , instead of singing the music that they love and that makes them an artist . :)

Holly, I don't get much variety on my free TV, so I looked him up. Wow!! Very talented, and seems like a wholesome kind of fellow. Does he make a living as an artist, or is he a singing cowboy?  Do he and your son work together?

It sure would be nifty if you had a video you could share....*wink, wink*

He does make a living as a musician and now even more so I am sure!!
I dont have any videos , I lost them when my phone went kerplunk in the toilet...
He is # 1 on i tunes too! I will see if my son can send me the pictures he has of them together.
 this is my son a couple of years ago when he first started out. He is playing another show Friday night at a local smoke house.

OMG!  I remember seeing him on his first visit to The Voice!  I was at my daughter's in Texas for her surgery, and she had the first episode with him taped, so since she loves the show we watched it!  He's fabulous!!

Holly, CONGRATULATIONS to Sundance!!!

I had been checking in on the internet....Tuesday early I saw that he'd made it to the Final Four, and I enjoyed watching his performance.  ;D. Then later, I saw yahoo had a spoiler alert, so I clicked and saw that he'd WON!!!! I enjoyed his live performance of his (written by him) original song "Darlin' Don't Go." I loved the video version of it, as I could hear the bass parts better.

His performance of "Treat Her Right" with Blake Shelton BLEW ME AWAY!! His dad must have felt overwhelmed to see his son perform his #2 hit (of 1965.) I like that song anyway, but last night I must have watched it a half-dozen times. I was be-bopping along so well my husband even started laughing and grabbed a video of me watching the video! ROFL

I hope this will be a big boost to his career. What little research I've done shows his already put in his hard knocks.  8) 8)

OMGosh YES we are so happy for them!!!

Such a well deserved time in their life!!
