We buried our German Shepherd Max SAT morning.
That two of our dogs buried in a week. We are heart broken to say the least.

So sorry for your losses.
They really do grab a part of our hearts, don't they?

I'm so sorry to read this Holly.  It's hard when they go -- we're never ready for it, even when they've lived a good, long life.

I lost 2 of my rescue cats in a month once, both over 14, so I knew it was coming but wasn't really prepared.

So sorry.

Thank-you both. I am beside myself. I am so thankful for the years I had with them both.
I know I will get better day by day, and greatfuln to have Bear.
Really happy that foal watch is coming to keep me busy!

Oh Holly you must be absolutely heartbroken, I really feel for you, so much sadness to bear all at once.  Perhaps Pickle was calling to him, needing his friend to be with him as he crossed Rainbow Bridge.
Sending you hugs and my sincere sympathy. xx

O, no, Holly!

I've been there but it's never the same for anyone.  Here's cyber hugs to you as you go on in remembrance of your two brave K-9's!

I apologize in advance for bringing up a hurt so close to the New Year. I didn't get a chance to offer condolences here or on Pickle's thread so am offering them now.  It's a hurt that eases with time yet is never really forget.

Rest well Max, and enjoy the Over the Rainbow Bridge Land with your friend Pickles.
