Good Luck Daisy :)

How exciting! Can't wait to see her on cam when I get home!!
-
I don't see any puppies yet? Poor girl, just laying there all stretched out. Must be lonely! What's that big circular thing in the front? Can't quite tell... is it a pool?
-
Yes she has the pool with blankets to have puppies in. Shes in the barn with the horses and bear comes to visit her. I go down at night a couple of times to check and pet. She is on day 56, so not much longer.
She spends the day with me at the house, but in evening when horses come in she follows me to go back in. I am pretty sure shes decided it's a good safe place to have them.
Shes getting uncomfortable now so shouldn't be much longer.😍

Still pregnant and certainly looking uncomfortable. I'll keep an eye out!
-
Well, I was excited there for a minute. I clicked on the screen and thought I saw babies. The picture was so small that it was hard to tell. I think I tried every size and width to get a better look, but then decided there were no little ones there yet.
POOH! Guess I'll just have to keep looking! :o
-
Little momma resting quietly and looks more comfortable in her pool! It's the first time I've actually seen her in the pool sleeping! Rest well, little momma. You've got a big job ahead!

PUPPIES!!!! AM IS SEEING PUPPIES?? !!!!!
Such a small screen, and when I enlarge to blurred to see, but it looks like puppies to me!!!
When did they arrive? I've been away but I didn't see them last night.
Looks like a LARGE litter!!!
-
I think I see six or seven on that tiny little screen.
-
We had puppies last night!
5 boys and 4 girls!!!
Daisy is doing excellent as first time momma, and all puppies are toasty warm and bellies full.
-

Any update on these puppies? I'll bet they are almost ready to go, or may have already gone????
Some pictures would be great to see how they were growing up !!
-
All puppies have wonderful new homes!
I totally forgot to update with pictures, I am sorry!
I will soon as owners send new ones.
-
Can't see them.
Yesterday, we had an exciting event when my son's Brittany Spaniel gave birth to her first litter. She had 10 --an unbelieveable 10 puppies, all doing well. Being a medium sized dog (avg around 35 pounds) with an average little size of 6 pups, we predicted she was going to have around 8 pups -- being so wide, but she surprised us all with a litter this size.
And yes, there is a 10th one hiding under the 9 you can see -- another white and orange! Not bad for a dog who's only about 20 inches tall!
So cute!
-
Oh my goodness!! That's a large first litter! But how precious are they!!
Just beautiful congrats!
-
Yes, and she's a good momma. Still learning about making sure all babies are getting enough attention and food, but doing really well for a first timer.
Had a little one who needed some adult attention yesterday. It wound up behind her, and got a bit cold and lethargic, but a little maple syrup water, a little heating pad and mamma giving it focused attention for a few minutes, roused the little one and all is well. We're proud of the job she's doing, but all babies are being watched carefully for any supplemental feeding they might need, and making sure all are being stimulated by momma's washing. So cute!

Sounds like shes doing great.
I am so glad you were able to help the pup. With such a big litter it's hard to keep them all in the right place. I had to go to barn several times to help daisys.

Great to read they have all found homes Holly. :)
Congrats Diane that is a big first litter :)
